Considerations & Fitment

• Because of their 3-ohm impedance, the speakers draw more current; therefore, if your car’s head unit is low power or weak, pushing these speakers hard may strain it. To avoid distortion, pairing with a decent amplifier or ensuring your head unit can handle 3 ohms is recommended.

• The top-mount depth (~ 52 mm) is modest, but you must check your door or panel cavities to ensure there is enough clearance; if the depth is tight, unwanted rubbing or sealing problems may occur.

• Mounting rings/adapters are included, which helps in many 6-1/2″ or 6-3/4″ speaker holes. Still, you might need to drill new screw holes if the factory hole pattern is significantly different.

• While the frequency response goes down to ~ 53 Hz, for deep bass or heavy low-end genres you may still want a separate subwoofer. These speakers are more strong in mid-bass and mids/highs.

• The warranty period is limited (1 year in many regions), so keep proof of purchase; also, if you install yourself, ensure you follow proper mounting and sealing to avoid rattles.
