Trade-Offs / What to Be Aware Of

• Although its lower frequency limit is 35 Hz, output will start falling off below that; it won’t be as deep as some large or more expensive subs.

• Needs good amplifier matching: to get the best performance without distortion, you’ll need an amp capable of ~250-350W RMS at 4 ohms. Poor amp or wiring will reduce performance.

• Big size and depth: the mounting depth (~150 mm) and cut-out size mean you need space; in small vehicles or tight trunks you’ll need to check physical fit carefully.
